Don't Run From Your Problems

The 6th Grade has been a little bit of a shock to me.

It is my new Teachers First Teaching Job ever.

She is really excited to Teach the Sixth Grade

Anyway, every day she writes a Homework Log on the blackboard.

At the end of the Day we copy it on to paper and bring it with our books home

I don't know why, but I wrote the totally WRONG page numbers down for the assignments.

I thought I was starting off the year right!

It turned out I had done the wrong assignments

I had only done the Short ones and these were the were long ones.

I found this out just before recess.

I got really Argumentative with the New Teacher

I even told Her She must be wrong and hadn't put them on the Board

During recess I tried to figure out how I could do all this work and still be able to go to Karate and Swimming and Finish My Homework for the day

Let's put it this way, I was Upset and Overwhelmed because I hadn't Paid Attention

So I thought of ways to get out of My Problems

Mom said I could not go to the Nurses office unless I was really sick.

Even though I felt sick,...and I couldn't stop crying.

I at first Hid in the Girls Bathroom

When Teachers and School Staff came Calling for Me I hid in the Bathroom Stall and Didn't Answer

I Was so Upset but waited there until they finally moved down the Hall

Then I ran home from school! but When I got there I thought My Mom was not supposed be home

You see she had a Doctors Appointment but usually is Home, but I knew today she wasn't supposed to be

Thats when I saw Jers Company Van there, he was Home studying for a Test for Work,so I had No Place to go

Plus I knew Jer Like My Mom would be Upset I left School

So being was almost time for School to get out I ran back there.

It was 100 degrees out and it was hot!

I got to the school and who was standing in front of me but the Principal.

What was worse he had called my Mom who was all the way across town

Jer had also been Called, he and some of the school staff had been out looking for me

Talk about making things worse! I wished I had just stayed that would have saved Everyone a lot of grief!

My point is, things would have been better if I had just stayed at school.

No one would be looking for me, my teacher would not have called the office and the office would not have had to call my Mom

I wasted all of these peoples time because I ran away from my Problem.

And running away from it Made It Worse!

Plus the Things Kids Usually Don't Know
You are the Type Kid they can Pick Up
  1. Kids Who Run from Problems Turn to Drugs
  2. Kids who run from School Do Badly in School.
  3. Kids who run from School turn Usually to Crime
Usually Spending Rest of Life in Jail.

So What better way to get to You
They Will Offer
You See Kids when I Thought I had the Way to Run

I had forgot the Main things ever Taught that when run Blindly or are Argumentative with Teacher or Adults

These Traits or Bad Habits can Make You forget Your Putting Your Life in Danger

This also Cost a lot of People to Worry about Me

Plus I ran the Danger of Not Only Being Kidnapped

I also put My Mom in Position She could have Gone to Jail as a Bad Mom

Myself I Could have Wound up as a Ward of Court never having a Home as I now know it

The Worst Thing is I Lost the Trust of a Lot of People

The Reason is I ran from My Problems and for that Some People might be thinking of Me as a Bad Kid.

Now to Me thats Sad... Plus My Mom had to put me on Restriction and Yes She is Right

You have to Follow Rules in Life Otherwise the World would be a Crazy Place.
