It's A New Year!
Welcome to
the Sixth Ezine!
It is pretty fun and exciting to have My own Ezine
Look Mom Look World My Sixth Ezine! That Famous LindseyGurl has hit the Big Time!
Ezine meaning an Electronically transmitted Magazine Style Newsletter
Where its Interactive and can take You to Places or Show You things
Hope you Believe, like I do that if You Dream it and Believe it
Then You can Make your dreams (and maybe someone else's) come true.
So Welcome to the 6th Edition of the LindseyGurl Ezine
So before We begin I Lindsey, would like to invite Kids from all over the world to share about their lives
We all have our Favorite, and Special places we like to go on the Internet and we can share them with each other
here, in my Ezine

Finally! Another Year is here!
It seems as though we were just starting the Year 2003!
I also think that the older you get time seems to go by faster.
Everyone is talking about making New Years Resolutions
I think it's a great idea to think of the things about yourself that you want to Make Better
The way I see it I am the only Person who can really Make Myself a Better Person
But, where do I start?
I know I need to - Improve my Schoolwork.
- Help out around the House more
- Write More letters
- Send more pictures to Family and Friends
- Do a better job keeping my Room Clean
- Keep better track of my Things
Here is an example of what happened over the Christmas Vacation to make me say "Keep better track of my Things":
I went to visit my Dad who lives 8 hours drive from us
I brought all the things I thought I needed, and maybe a little extra!
There were 2 books my Teacher gave me that I Promised I would bring back after Vacation
Well, we were in such a big hurry to get everything done before I came home My Dad packed my Bags
Guess what! When I got home I only found 1 of the Books in my Bag!
When I told my Teacher she said, to "teach me about responsibility" until I got that book back to the school I was not allowed to go out for Recess
But it got worse
My Mom had to call my Dad long distance to find out if he could find the book
Then he had to look, and call back long distance
Then, it cost Him even more money and more time because my Dad felt he had to mail it Overnight so I would not have to miss recess!
Talk about feeling bad! Just forgetting 1 little book made me ask all this of my Family. It is bad enough missing recess but this all really added up!
So, this Year my Main Resolution is to Keep Better Track of My Things
Like my teacher says, "So I will be more Responsible"
Toys For Tots Toy Run-
Our NEW Tradition
Wouldn't it be fun to start a New Tradition where you can help others for Every Holiday?
I think the Holidays are the Best Time to start a New Tradition that you and your Family can look forward to Every Year
This year we donated to Toys For Tots
We bought a bunch of Toys first
I had fun because I got to pick out the stuffed animals
Then we went Downtown to the State Capital where the Marines had the Toy Drop
You can see me there with the 2 bags of toys at the top of this page
There were huge mounds of Toys of all different kinds there
The sidewalks were filled with people carrying toys, big and small
I was really Impressed by all the people there who cared enough to bring a toy, or a bag of toys to this event
