Welcome to
the Thirteenth Ezine!
It is pretty fun and exciting to have My Own Ezine
Look Mom Look World My Tenth Ezine! That Famous LindseyGurl has hit the Big Time!
Ezine means an Electronically transmitted Magazine Style Newsletter
An ezine can be Interactive meaning it can take You to Places or Show You things
Hope you Believe, like I do that if You Dream it and Believe it
Then You can Make your dreams (and maybe someone else's) come true.
So Welcome to the 13th Edition of the LindseyGurl Ezine
Before We begin I Lindsey, would like to invite Kids from all over the world to share about their lives. The more fun places and ideas you send to me the more I can share with others.
We all have our Favorite, and Special things we like to do.
We all have places we like to go on the Internet, and if we share them with each other here, in my Ezine we can have more fun.
I have a Friends section where we make a special page with my friends name, picture (hopefully!)and information.

It is Back To School Again!
I don't know about you but I was really glad to be back in school. No no no...I didn't miss the work I just missed being in school!
Does that make sense? I think it does even if it sounds weird. See, I was looking forward to meeting new kids from different schools. When you reach 6th grade you feel like you are a big kid surrounded by all little kids. I like younger kids but I felt like it was time to meet new friends my age from my own neighborhood.
We have 6 different classes, 6 periods each day at my school. I am glad it is 6 periods. Finally!
We are rushing around from class to class all day long. It seems like class just started and it is already over. I am so happy because school sure got boring going to the same class with the same teacher and the same kids day after day after day!
Keep Track of Your Books
We don't have lockers at my school, except for PE class. So, it's really important to keep track of your books at school and at home.
My school gave us a date schedular that looks like Mom's appointment Manager book. It has a place where we can keep track of all our classes and the homework we have by day, week and month.
If you don't have one you can make one out of a regular binder with little tabs for each section. Just take tape and write in the section and tape it so it sticks out from the pages so you can flip right to the section you want. I like this idea because in 7th grade you have a lot to keep track of and it is your responsibility to not forget anything. It just makes it easier for you to keep track of things.
Become A Reading Freak
Pay attention to what you are reading. Before I would just skim over the reading and I missed a lot. It made it hard to remember things if I really hadn't read everything and understood it.
Take interest in what you are reading and it will be easier to read. If you don't like the subject think of things about the topic that you do like, and that will make it more fun.
Take Care Of Your Own Laundry
Have you ever thought of how many times you are looking for clothes at the last minute and can't find them?
Do you find yourself screaming "Mom! I can't find this or that shirt!". Well, if you are the one who washes, dries and puts away your clothes you won't have to yell at anyone for help. You will already know where everything is because you are the one who put it there.
Pretty soon you are going to have to do all of this anyway, so why not start now. It will make it easier for you and your Mom will be a lot happier if you start doing this too!
Weekends Are For Helping Out Around the House
What do you and your friends do when the weekend comes around? I usually try to get all my stuff done so I can have a friend spend the night, or so I can go do something fun.
Do you have chores to do that your parent has to ask you to do all the time? Why not get them done before someone asks next time? I bet you will surprise someone by doing this.
But your parents, even big sister or brother will be happier with you, and maybe even let you go do something next time you ask.
Try offering to help with a home project around the house instead of being asked to help. Try this one especially if you know you are going to be asked to help. Trust me they will be happy with you for asking!
Take Care of Your Trash
Last but not least I want to tell you that if you do the recycling you will feel better about yourself. We studied recycling last year in school and if your family does not do recycling maybe you should ask them if you can.
Mom splits the money for recycling the aluminum cans with me so it is worth it!
If you care about the planet and all the waste there is something you can do about it- Recycle!
Busy busy busy
If you didn't notice I am running late with this ezine. Jr. High School took me by surprise and before Mom & I knew it it was overdue.
We hope you like the ezine and remember it is more fun for me if you write to me, Lindsey and tell me about yourself.

Build On Your Dream and Make It Come TrueEvery time I see the Movie the Wizard of Oz I think how much Dorothy missed home.
It reminds me of how much I missed and dreamt of home while I was on vacation last summer for 1 month! So, when I hear "there's no place like home" in the movie Wizard Of Oz, it reminds me of how happy I was to get back home.
Dreams are what you make of them! Even if a movie or book has to remind you of what your dreams are they are still important.
