So Welcome to the 2nd Edition of the LindseyGurl Ezine
So before We begin I Lindsey would like to invite Kids from all over the world to share about
their lives
We all have our Favorite, and Special places we
like to go on the Internet and we can share them with each other
here, in my Ezine
I have started a Friends section where we
made a special page with my friends name, and information

twice a month, but have to wait and see how school and my time works
out first

The First Month of School
Was a little bit of a shock to me.
It is my new Teachers first teaching job, ever.
She is really excited to teach the sixth grade
Anyway, every day she writes a Homework Log on the blackboard.
At the end of the Day we copy it on to paper and bring it with our books home
I don't know why, but I wrote the totally WRONG page numbers down for the assignments.
I thought I was starting off the year right!
It turned out I had done the wrong assignments, and they were long ones.
I found this out just before recess. During recess I tried to figure out how I could do all this work and still be able to go to Karate and swimming and finish my homework for the day
Let's put it this way, I was overwhelmed!
Mom said I could not go to the Nurses office unless I was really sick. Even though I felt sick,...and I couldn't stop crying.
I was so upset I ran home from school!
When I got there Mom was not home and so I ran back to school. It was 100 degrees out and it was hot!
I got to the school and who was standing in front of me but the Principal. What was worse he had called my Mom who was all the way across town, and some of the school staff was looking for me
Talk about making things worse! I wished I had just stayed that would have saved Everyone a lot of grief!
My point is, things would have been better if I had just stayed at school. No one would be looking for me, my teacher would not have called the office and the office would not have had to call my Mom
I wasted all of these peoples time because I ran away from my Problem.
And running away from it Made It Worse!
