Welcome to
the Fifteenth Ezine!
It is pretty fun and exciting to have My Own Ezine
Look Mom Look World My fifteenth Ezine! Yes folks, that Famous LindseyGurl has hit the Big Time!
Ezine means an Electronically transmitted newsletter-style magazine.
An ezine can be Interactive meaning it can take You to Places or Show You things.
Dreams are meant to come true!
I Hope you Believe, like I do that if You Dream it and Believe it
Then You can Make your dreams (and maybe someone else's) come true.
Plus! You can interract with this one!
So Welcome to the 15th Edition of the LindseyGurl Ezine
Before We begin I would like to invite Kids from all over the world to share about their lives.
The more fun places and ideas you send to me the more I can share with others.
I share my favorite things of the month and Special things I like to do.
Also, places I like to go on the Internet, and if we share these with each other here,
in my Ezine we can have more fun! So please send me yours!

Fall Break_2004
Our school starts earlier than most, but we get 2 weeks for Fall Break! This Fall Break I was lucky enough to visit my Dad who lives 7 hours drive away in Santa Barbara. I like the area for a lot of reasons.
- I like spending time with my Dad because we always do something fun.
- We used to live in the area so have lots of good memories.
- I get to visit my friends who live there.
- I love the beach/beach combing.
- It is fun to shop there.
This vacation we went to Six Flags Magic Mountain. It took less than 2 hours to drive there from Santa Barbara. We had packed our lunches and some other snacks so we wouldn't have to spend too much money on food.
I thought we were as ready as we could be until we got there and discovered I had forgot my Season Pass.
Oh no! I felt really bad because my Dad had to pay extra to get a copy of it, but he said not to worry about it because we were there to have a good time.
Six Flags Magic Mountain was huge! There were so many rides to go on and I was excited. We decided to go on the top rides first in case we ran out of time.

As you can see this ride was very fun! Dad was fun to go here with because he would go on any ride with me. Most of my friends won't go on the really high and or fast rides so when we go we don't go on all the rides.
We stayed until the park closed and by the time we got back home were both really tired!
The Half Way Mark
I was going to visit for 1 week so I could spend time with my friends back home and get ready for school again. By the time we were getting close to my last day I called Mom and asked if I could stay another week.
To my surprise she said yes! I knew Dad was going to have to go to work most of the days, but we would be able to spend after work together.
During the days I spent time with Dad's friend. We went window shopping on State Street where there are lots of really neet stores. I like going to the Big Dog Store and finding one souvenier there.
It was fun to be with Dad's friend during the days because she runs a daycare. So there were always other kids around.
Our Time
We spent the rest of the time we had together going for bike rides around town, beach combing and visiting friends. A few of the days I went to work with Dad.
He was remodeling a house in a really nice neighborhood. This house had a driveway as long as a city block! Did I say this was a really nice neighborhood! The owners were nice to me and gave me things to do while I was there.
You know, it was fun to go with Dad to work so I could see what he does. It has been over 4 years since my parents split up, so I don't remember that much of what our life was like before my parents broke up.
Even though I know it isn't going to happen I wish my parents were still together. Mom explained it by saying they "both changed and grew in different directions". I suppose that makes sense, but I don't really understand it.
Sometimes it makes me sad to think that they are not together, like a regular family so I looked for help here, on the Internet. Below I made a list of the websites which helped me understand how to cope with having parents who are not together any more.

Just remember just because Your Parents are Divorced
Doesn't mean You can't love Your Parents individually
I just hope some of these websites can help you and or your friends whose parents are divorced. Parents who are going through separation or divorce are having a hard time also so remember be kind to your parents, they are people too!

Halloween is Coming
 Are you ready for Halloween? I sure hope you are getting ready for Halloween! Just wanted to say it's never too late, you are never too old to dress up and wear funny clothes for Halloween!

I need to say this because a lot of kids my age just don't think it is important.
- Listen to your parents and do what they tell you to
without arguing about everything all the time.
